Board of Directors

Mark by Kronenfeld,

Mark Kronenfeld, MD

Mark Kronenfeld, M.D. is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology and the Medical Director of Perioperative Services at Maimonides Medical Center. He is a Managing Partner of AABP, a private physician partnership, and a Managing Partner of SORADS LLP, a physician-run partnership involved in the development of innovative medical device products. Dr. Kronenfeld is a consultant for corporations and hospitals in the fields of biotechnology, medical devices and hospital and operating room safety and efficiency.

Dr. Kronenfeld graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from State University of New York at Buffalo with a B.A. in Biology. He received his M.D. degree from University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine. He completed his internship in Surgery and residency in Anesthesiology at UCSD, and a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at New York University Medical Center.  While an Assistant Professor and Attending Cardiac Anesthesiologist at NYU, Dr. Kronenfeld received a Kellogg-sponsored Fellowship in Heath Care Management for Future Leaders in Health Care at NYU’s Graduate School of Management. Dr. Kronenfeld was the Director of Cardiac Anesthesiology at Hackensack University Medical Center during its transition from a local community hospital to an internationally recognized Medical Center.

Dr. Kronenfeld founded Investors Medical Group to identify new medical technologies, and served as an exclusive healthcare consultant and proprietary trader to Tudor Investment Corporation’s U.S. and international offices. He founded and was Managing Partner of Ridgemark Capital and Ridgemark Biomedical Fund, investing in public and private healthcare and biomedical companies. He was Managing Director of C.E. Unterberg Towbin, a U.S. investment bank, focusing on emerging medical and other technologies.

At Maimonides Medical Center, Dr. Kronenfeld is focused on medical student and resident training, clinical research, patient safety initiatives in the operating room and the perioperative environment, as well as new product development to improve patient care, safety and efficiency.


Francis by Baccay,

Francis Baccay, MD

Francis B. Baccay, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Anesthesia at the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He is employed by Advanced Physicians Services, PC, a Division of the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Baccay is a General Surgeon and Trauma/Critical Care Surgeon.

Dr. Baccay is a graduate of Ossining High School. He then went on to double-major at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana whereby he received his B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Sociology. He obtained his M.D. from New York Medical College as well as his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Baccay is a member of numerous committees and is involved in teaching, supervising and mentoring General Surgery residents at the Westchester Medical Center. With residents and medical students, he has been a researcher in the areas of General Surgery and Critical Care. Dr. Baccay has been active in the education of medical students during their basic science and clinical years and serves on many committees and is a faculty preceptor and advisor at New York Medical College.

Through his continued work with General Surgery residents, Dr. Baccay has received many distinctions and awards from his residents. He also has been a multi-recipient of Teaching Excellence Honors from the graduating classes from New York Medical College.


Ben & Debbie by Lieberman

Ben & Debbie Lieberman

Debbie and Ben Lieberman founded Evan's Team after friends, family and neighbors suggested various events and gatherings that will not only help the community but keep Evan's smile in our hearts.  These events are fun in nature but the support and awareness will be beneficial throughout the entire area. Debbie graduated from Emory University with a BBA in Finance. She worked at Pfizer Pharmaceutical and as a government bond trader for Mabon Nugent, before retiring to become a full time mom. Ben attended The University of Marlyland where he earned a BS in Journalism. He currently works in fixed income trading in the financial industry. Ben is a published author of fiction and is working on his second novel.


William by Madden

William Madden

William is the owner of McCann Development, LLC and McCann Management LLC, which are New York based fully integrated, commercial real estate development and construction companies.  The Companies specialize in healthcare facilities, luxury hotels, high-end condominiums and regional retail shopping centers. Together the companies have completed developments throughout the Northeast and Florida aggregating nearly one billion dollars. The Companies’ possess in-house capabilities in Healthcare Operations and Development; Project Development, Financing and Construction; and Property Management.

Additionally, Mr. Madden is the Managing Member and Operator of Regal Heights Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a 280 bed Skilled Nursing Facility and a 50 person Adult Daycare Operation built from the ground up and opened in February of 2000. Mr. Madden is also an approved Receiver with the New York State Department of Health, recently being appointed Receiver and by the DOH to take over the operations of two separate troubled skilled nursing facilities which he subsequently acquired, bringing his New York operation to 561 beds. Mr. Madden was also the Managing Member of Madison House, an 80 bed assisted living facility built located in Orlando, Florida and the Managing Member of Ivy Court, a 40 bed dedicated Alzheimer’s facility also located in Orlando Florida.  Mr. Madden’s healthcare operations employ in excess of 600 dedicated professionals. Mr. Madden currently resides in Armonk, New York.


Michael by Brooks

Michael Brooks

Mr. Brooks brings over 20 years of sales, marketing, legal and entrepreneurial experience to Evan's Team. Mr. Brooks is the Chief Executive Officer of International Purchase Systems, Inc ("IPS"). Since founding IPS in 1994, IPS has procured and sold in excess of one billion dollars of brand name, retail value merchandise. IPS continues to purchase merchandise from many Fortune 1000 companies including Duracell, Energizer, Skil, Black & Decker, Sunbeam, Coleman, Rawlings, Rival, American Standard, Holmes, Delta Faucet, Peerless Faucet, Price Pfister, Kwikset, Helen Of Troy, Encore Inc., Topics Entertainment Corp., Bosch, Aero Products, Aqua Chem, Procter & Gamble, Lionsgate Entertainment and Haier America. Mr. Brooks is also the co-founder and President of DealYard.com as well as the Chairman of Bulx.com.

Mr. Brooks has appeared on CNN and Bloomberg News and has been featured in articles on the front page of The Wall Street Journal, The Sunday New York Times, The Journal News, Westchester Business Journal, Crain's New York and Entrepreneur's Business Start-Ups. Prior to founding IPS, Mr. Brooks was an associate at the law firm of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker where he specialized in defense litigation. Mr. Brooks received a Bachelor of Accountancy from The George Washington University and received a Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law graduating with honors.


Gary by Lieberman

Gary Lieberman

Gary is the founder and President of West Side Advisors an investment management firm established in 1997. He is also Chairman of the Board of Darien Rowayton Bank a Connecticut based retail bank. Gary also serves on the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Nets. He has an undergraduate degree from Emory University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.


Eric by Keiter

Eric H. Keiter

Since 2009, Eric H. Keiter has been president of New York Livery Leasing Inc., a subprime automobile lender serving the livery industry in New York City.  Prior to that, he was a principal and founder of MKP Capital Management, a large New York based hedge fund and asset management firm.  There, he was co-head of investing and risk management for MKP Partners and MKP Opportunity, and supervised risk management for MKP Credit.  Prior to the founding of MKP Capital Management, from 1994 to 1995, Eric was the head mortgage portfolio manager at Fischer Francis Trees & Watts. Previously, Eric spent seven years with Salomon Brothers Inc, where he was a vice president and trader in the mortgage-backed securities department.  Prior to trading at Salomon Brothers he was involved in portfolio analysis and strategy formulation in the fixed income area.  For six months in 1990, Eric was employed by Goldman Sachs in the J. Aron division of foreign exchange sales.  Eric holds an MA in chemistry from Columbia University and an honors BS in chemistry from the Pennsylvania State University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.


Robert by Fuhrer

Robert Fuhrer

While you were playing in your toy box, young Robert Fuhrer was thinking, “Hmm, how could I market these things better?” Considered one of the country's top toy experts, Robert founded Nextoy LLC in 1981. Ever since, Nextoy has been connecting original toy and game ideas with the companies that market them. The company is regarded as product-placement specialists for toys and games, publishing, and gifts and novelties. Nextoy’s clients include Hasbro, Mattel, SpinMaster, The New York Times, Reader’s Digest, Capcom, St. Martin's Press, HarperCollins, and many others.  Classic Nextoy products include Crocodile Dentist, Gator Golf, KenKen® and Electronic TopTop

On a business trip to Japan to 2007, Robert became fascinated with an unknown math-and-logic puzzle. So he set up KENKEN Puzzles LLC and markets the popular KENKEN puzzle worldwide with books, Apps, and countless publications and websites.   No, you don’t have to send him a thank-you note!

Bob received a BA from Syracuse University ‘77, and is a long-time resident of Chappaqua, NY where he lives with his wife, Judy and their 3 children.


Karen by Lieberman,

Karen Lieberman, Ph.D., R.D.

Karen Lieberman, Ph.D., R.D. is a Professor of Hospitality Management at Johnson & Wales University.  Previously, she was Associate Professor and Chair at Purdue University, North Central campus, as well as a visiting professor at the International College of Hospitality Management in Brig, Switzerland.  In addition, she is the Managing Editor at Telemachus Press.

Lieberman received her doctoral degree from Purdue University.  She is also a Registered Dietitian.  She has published many journal articles and is the author/co-author of three books.  The most recent is Ethics in the Hospitality Industry, 2nd edition.

Presently, the majority of Lieberman’s time is spent with junior faculty assisting with their professional development.  She mentors faculty and staff who are pursuing doctoral degrees.  In addition, Lieberman is a co-founder and director of the Leif Nissen Foundation.  The organization is dedicated to forwarding causes of social justice.

Billy Sadik-Khan

Billy is a founding partner at Capptivation, a startup focused on the prevention of sexual misconduct on college campuses. He also coaches football at Horace Greeley High School. Billy received a BA from Middlebury College in 2014, and is from Chappaqua, NY, where he met and grew up with Evan.


Jack by Zandi

Jack Zandi

Jack is a recent college graduate from Ohio Wesleyan University. After graduating, he worked on Admiral Joe Sestak's campaign for a senatorial seat in Pennsylvania. In addition, he is currently a founding partner at Capptivation, which is a company that is designing a smartphone app that will help students prevent sexual misconduct on college campuses, as well as help survivors gain access to resources that are offered on all levels from the school to the national stage.

Jamie & Rachel by Lieberman

Jamie & Rachel Lieberman

Jamie earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School for Public Communications, with a minor in Information Management and Technology. She is currently working as an Account Coordinator at WE Worldwide. Prior to graduation Jamie had interned for New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo and BWR public relations as well. Jamie still attempts some flips from her competitive gymnastic days.

Rachel is student at Syracuse University in The College of Arts and Sciences. She is interested in pursuing a career in media and is aiming her studies in that direction. She is also a fledging entrepreneur who created a decretive bottle company called Bottles Up that specializes in college logos. Rachel is also an avid dancer.


Tom by Stern

Tom Stern

Tom received a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, specializing in both Management and Finance.

As a sophomore in college, Tom founded Threadix, an event platform that focused on improving the event experience for event attendees, event coordinators, and event sponsors through the use of chip enabled apparel.

Tom, a Venture for America Fellow is currently focusing on driving growth as the Director of Small Business Development at zlien, a venture backed SaaS (Software as a Service) startup that helps building suppliers and contractors manage mechanics lien rights and control financial risk on their construction projects.

Tom loves traveling, keeping up to date on the latest technological trends, and sports – especially the Green Bay Packers.


Rich by Giner

Rich Giner

Rich is a founding partner at Captivation, a startup helping survivors of sexual misconduct on college campuses. Rich received a BS from the University of Mount Olive, where he enjoyed a successful college baseball career. Rich grew up in Mt. Kisco, where he met Evan, and became lifelong friends.
