Evan’s Team is committed to supporting the Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Program at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of Westchester Medical Center Health Network.

The Child Life Team helps children undergoing treatment adjust to and understand the hospital environment and medical experience. Child life specialists promote effective coping through play, self-expression activities and age-appropriate medical preparation and education.

As a Level I pediatric trauma center, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital is home to the region’s only dedicated pediatric intensive care unit as well as the highest level neonatal unit. Their goal is to make all children healthy and happy and Evan’s Team is dedicated to making that goal a reality.
